Assam Police has released employment notification for the requirement of various pots in different departments under Assam Government.
1. Directorate of Civil Defence and Home Guards, Assam.
A. Havilder (Grade III)
No of posts: 36
Educational Qualification: H.S.L.C or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council.
Other Qualification: Minimum NCC ‘B’ Certificate.
Note: The persons having H.S.L.C. passed certificate but not possessing minimum NCC ‘B’ Certificate are not eligible to apply.
Pay: Rs. 14000 – 60500 + GP 6800 (PB-2)
B. Constable (Grade III)
No of posts: 211
Pay: 14000 – 60500 + GP 5600 (PB-2)
Educational Qualification: H.S.L.C or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council.
Other Qualification: Home Guard Certificate or Minimum NCC ‘A’ Certificate.
Note :- The persons having H.S.L.C. passed certificate but not possessing Home Guards Training Certificate or minimum NCC ‘A’ Certificate are not eligible to apply.
C. Platoon Commander
No of posts: 04
Pay: Rs. 14,000-60,500 (Pay Band No.2) and Grade pay Rs. 8700/-
Educational Qualification: The candidate must be a graduate in Arts, Science, Commerce or equivalent stream from a recognized College / Institutions affiliated to a recognized University.
Other Qualification: NCC ‘B’ Certificate OR Home Guards Training Certificate.
N.B. The candidates having graduate degree but not possessing NCC ‘B’ Certificate OR Home Guards training Certificate are not eligible to apply.
2. Assam Police, Assam Commando Battalions, DGCD & CGHG, Assam & Fire & Emergency Services, Assam

Assam Police Age Limit:
Assam Commando Battalions: Candidate age must be between 18 to 25 years as on 1st July 2022.
Assam Police, DGCD & CGHG and F & ES: Candidate age must be between 18 to 40 years as on 1st July 2022.
Age Relaxation: The category-wise age relaxation is as mentioned below.
