State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB), Assam has released two employment notification for the recruitment of 2759 posts of Forester Grade I, Forest Guard, AFPF Constable, Driver Constable, Driver & Grade-IV Posts under Forest Department, Govt. of Assam. Online application will be start on 23rd January in STATE LEVEL POLICE RECRUITMENT BOARD (SLPRB) website. Recruitment rallies will be conducted for selection of candidates for appointment against the following number of vacant posts. The date and venue of Physical Standard Test & Physical Efficiency Test (PST & PET) and Written Test etc. will be intimated in due course of time by email, SMS and various other means and through SLPRB website (www.slprbassam.in). Only online applications will be received with effect from 23-01-2023. The last date for receipt of applications will be 06-02-2023.

Essential Qualification: Bachelor Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent.
B) FOREST GUARD WITH GRADE PAY OF RS. 5600/-

Essential Qualification: Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council.

Other Eligibility Criteria of Assam Forest Department Recruitment
The candidate must satisfy the following criteria.:-
a) Nationality- Candidates must be Indian citizens, permanent resident of Assam. Selected candidates will have to submit proof of residence /Domicile Certificate after publication of the final select list. However, candidates belonging to SC, ST,OBC/MOBC are exempted from submitting such certificates.
b) Candidates must register his/ her name with a local Employment Exchange in Assam.
c) Candidates must speak Assamese or any other state language fluently.
Age Limit for Assam Forest Department
(I) For the posts of Forester Grade I, Forest Guard & Driver: 18 to 40 years as on 01-01-2023 (i.e. Candidate must be born on or before 01.01.2005 and on or after 01.01.1983).
(II) For the posts of AFPF Constable & Driver Constable: 18 to 25 years as on
01-01-2023 (i.e. Candidate must be born on or before 01.01.2005 and on or after
01.01.1998).
Relaxations: Upper age limit will be relaxed for:
(i) 5 (five) years in respect of candidates belonging to SC, ST (P) and ST (H).
(ii) 3 (three) years in respect of candidates belonging to OBC/MOBC.
Pay Scale: Rs. 14000-60,500/ (Pay Band II), with Grade Pay as mentioned against each category.
Scale of Pay for Grade-IV Posts:
14000-60500, Grade Pay - 6200/- for the post of Electrician
14000-60500, Grade Pay - 5600/- for the post of Plumber
14000-60500, Grade Pay - 5000/- for the post of Pump Operator
12000-52000, Grade Pay - 3900/- for the post of Cook, Water Carrier, Dhubi, Barber, Peon, Dak Runner & Jugali.

iii) Birth Certificate issued by the Competent Authority as mentioned at Para II (c) above by the candidates who have not appeared in HSLC/Matriculation.
iv) Class VII / Class VIII Passed Certificate for the candidates who have not appeared in HSLC/Matriculation as applicable.
v) Certificate of other diploma qualification or Trade certificate /license required, as applicable.
vi) Certificate of Caste from Competent Authority. NO CASTE CERTIFICATE
