GUWAHATI: The Assam Cricket Association (ACA) on Thursday, September 15, announced the ticket prices for the T20 international cricket match between India and South Africa that is scheduled to be held in Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati on October 2.
This was announced by Assam Cricket Association Secretary, Devajit Saikia at a press meet on Thursday.
"The tickets will be sold in two phases on BookMyShow.com website and app. In the first phase, we will sell 15,000 tickets starting from 11 AM on Friday, September 16. And in the second phase, we will give away a total of 5,000 tickets on September 26," the ACA addressed the media.
The minimum price of the ticket would be Rs 475 this time, which is reserved for students only. Other prices are Rs 1500, Rs 2000, Rs 3500, Rs 4000, and Rs 6000.
The rates for the tickets as per different types of categories are as follows:
1. West Stand 2nd Floor (For Students Only) - ₹475
2. West Stand 1st Floor - ₹2,000
3. West Stand Ground Floor - ₹3,000
4. East Stand 2nd Floor - ₹1,500
5. East Stand 1st Floor - ₹2,000
6. East Stand Ground Floor - ₹3,000
7. North Stand Top Floor - ₹2,000
8. North Stand 2nd Floor - ₹4,000
9. North Stand Ground Floor - ₹3,500
10. South Stand Top Floor - ₹2,000
11. South Stand 2nd Floor - ₹4,000
12. South Stand 1st Floor - ₹6,000
13. South Stand Ground Floor - ₹3,500
Interestingly, Barsapara Cricket Stadium will host an international cricket match after almost two years.
India National Cricket Team is all set to play a three-match ODI and a three-match T20I series against the South Africa National Cricket Team ahead of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022.
The three-match T20I series between India and South Africa will be played on September 28, October 1 and October 3 in Trivandrum, Guwahati and Indore, respectively.
The Barsapara Cricket Stadium, Guwahati was established in 2012 and has a seating capacity of 60,000.
