In exercise of powers conferred by The Assam Direct Recruitment Commission for Analogous Posts in Class-III and Class-IV Act, 2021 and the Assam Direct Recruitment for Class-III and Class-IV Analogous Posts Rules,2022, online applications are invited from intending eligible applicants, who are citizens of India having registration number in the employment exchange of the state of Assam, for filling up 13,300 Grade-IV posts (tentative) and 13,141 nos. of vacant Grade-III posts (tentative) of different departments/ establishments in Government of Assam.

Correction Notification
This is for information of all those applicants who have applied for recruitment of Class III and Class IV categories of posts and who have made mistakes relating to Name, Address, D.O.B, ete while filling up of the forms, that they may submit request for correction from 9th June, 2022 to 16 June, 2022. Such applicants have to apply through the e-mail ID given in the application form to the e-mail ID given below by stating:

Eligibility Criteria of Assam Direct Recruitment
The category-wise eligibility criteria has been mentioned below.
✓ Grade-IV (Class-IV)

Maximum Qualification: The maximum allowed educational qualification for Class-IV posts is HSSLC or class 12th or equivalent examination passed. Candidates having qualification higher than maximum qualification are not eligible to apply for these vacancy.
✓ Grade III (Category I)
Name of posts: Accountant, Cashier, Junior Assistant, LDA, Stenographer, etc.
No of posts: 8,331 posts
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Bachelor’s Degree with Computer Certificate/ Diploma of minimum 6 months duration.
✓ Grade III (Category II)
Name of posts: Field Assistant, Fieldman, Foreman, Section Assistant, Soil Conservation Field Worker Junior, Agriculture Extension Officer, etc.
No of posts: 3,690 posts
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed HSSLC or class 12th or equivalent examinations. (Some specific posts need candidates to be class 12th passed from science stream.)
✓ Grade III (Category III)
Name of post: Driver
No of posts: 1,120 posts
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed HSLC or equivalent examination.
Age Limit: The Candidate should not be less than 18 years and not more than 40 years as on 1st January 2022.
Age Relaxation: The category wise upper age relaxation is as mentioned below.
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC/MOBC: 3 years
- Ex-Servicemen: 2 years
- PwD: 10 years
Citizenship: Candidates must be a citizen of India.

FAQs for candidates applying for Grade-IV posts of Govt. of ASSAM:
Q1. If I do not have Employment Exchange Registered Number, can I apply for the posts?
Ans: No, you cannot . Before filling up of application for the recruitment, you will have to get your name registered in the Employment Exchange.
Q2. If I am a candidate of HSLC / HSSLC or Equivalent examination passed, how many posts can I apply for?
Ans: If the candidate is HSLC/HSSLC or Equivalent examination passed then he/she is eligible to apply for both the categories of post.
- i)HSLC or Equivalent (II)
- ii) Class VIII passed (I)
Therefore, the candidate may click on 'YES' button for both the categories I and II if he/ she desires to apply for both in One Go
Q3. If I have read upto Class VIII how many posts can I apply for?
Ans: If the candidate has read upto Class VIII then he/she can apply for only one post, i.e read upto Class VIII (I)
Therefore He/She can click on 'YES' for category( I )and 'NO' for category (II)
Q4. If I am Graduate can I apply for the posts?
Ans: No, a candidate having higher qualifications than HSSLC or Equivalent examination passed then he/she is not eligible to apply in Class-IV posts
Q5. Can I apply for the posts if I do not have ADHAR Card?
Ans: Yes, you can as ADHAR is not mandatory
Q6. If my marksheets is based on GPA/CGPA formula?
Ans: If marks are provided in the marksheet on GPA/CGPA basis then the PC(%) of marks will have to be calculated as per accordance with the GPA/CGPA formula provided in the marksheet itself.
Q7. What are the documents I need to upload?
Ans: The applicant has to upload only the photograph and scanned signature as specified. All other documents will be verified at the appropriate time before appointments if selected. The information provided in the application must be in conformity with the testimonials available with you. In case of mismatch your application will stand cancelled and you maybe liable to be prosecuted as per prevailing Acts and Rules.

Ans: Yes, you can. The suggestions are provided below.
A) For the candidates having Driving license -
i) If the Applicant has Driving License and has Graduate Degree with Diploma in Computer then he/she is eligible to apply for all four categories if he/she so desires (A, B, C & D). Then he/she may click 'Yes' Button of A, B, C and D at One Go.
ii) If the Applicant has Driving License and also has Graduate Degree then he/she is eligible to apply for following three categories if he/she so desires – (a) Graduate, (b) HSSLC and (c) Driver . So, He/She may click on 'YES' button for A,C and D category and 'NO' for B.
iii) If the Applicant has driving license and passed HSSLC, he/she is eligible to apply for the following two categories –
- HSSLC (C)and
- Driver(D) if he/she so desires.
Then he/she may click on 'YES' button for C and D and 'NO' for A and B category.
iv) If the Applicant has passed HSLC or equivalent examination and has Driving License, then he/she will eligible to apply for the post of Driver only, i.e only for category D and click 'Yes' for D and 'No' for A,B and C.
Q3. If I am Graduate and have degree or diploma in Computer then how many posts can I apply for ?
Ans: For the Applicant having Graduate Degree and having Diploma in Computer, then he/she will eligible to apply for following three categories if he/she so desires:
- i)Graduate (A),
- ii)Graduate with Computer (B),
- iii) HSSLC (C)
Therefore, he/she may click 'Yes' for A, B, C and 'No' for D
Q4. If am a Graduate, how many posts can I apply for ?
Ans: For applicant who is a graduate then he/she is eligible to apply for two posts if he/she so desires-
- i)Graduate Degree(A)
- ii) HSSLC
Therefore he/ she may click 'Yes' for B & C and 'No' for A & D .
Q5. If I am HSSLC or Equivalent pass , how many posts can I apply for?
Ans: If the candidate is HSSLC or Equivalent passed then he/she is eligible to apply for only one post, i.e, For HSSLC or Equivalent (C).
Therefore he/she has to click on 'Yes' button for category C and 'No' for A,B and D
