APRO Recruitment 2022
A. ASSAM POLICE RADIO ORGANISATION (APRO):
1. CONSTABLE (WO/WT/OPR)
Total no. of Posts: 441
Educational qualification: 10+2 (Science) passed with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) from a recognized Board or Council. The candidates must have obtained pass marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) of 10+2 (Science) examination to apply for the post.
Pay Scale: Rs.14,000-60,500/- (Pay Band II), with Grade pay of Rs.6,200/- and other admissible allowances.
2. CONSTABLE (UB)
Total no. of Posts: 02
Educational Qualification: HSSLC or Class 12th Passed from a recognized Board or Council.
Pay Scale: Rs.14,000-60,500/- (Pay Band II), with Grade pay of Rs.5,600/- and other admissible allowances.
3. CONSTABLE (MESSENGER)
Total no. of Posts: 14
Educational Qualification: HSLC or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council and must possess valid driving license for LMV, MMV & HMV etc.
Pay Scale: Rs.14,000-60,500/- (Pay Band II), with Grade pay of Rs.5,200/- and other admissible allowances.
4. CONSTABLE (CARPENTER)
Total no. of Post: 03
Educational Qualification: HSLC or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council and passed prescribed ITI course in trade.
Pay Scale: Rs.14,000-60,500/- (Pay Band II), with Grade pay of Rs.5,200/- and other admissible allowances.
5. CONSTABLE (DISPATCH RIDER)
Total no. of Post: 10
Educational Qualification: HSLC or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council and must possess valid driving license for LMV, MMV & HMV etc.
Pay Scale: Rs.14,000-60,500/- (Pay Band II), with Grade pay of Rs.5,200/- and other admissible allowances.
B. FIRE & EMERGENCY SERVICES (F&ES):
6. ASSTT. SQUAD COMMANDER
Total no. of Posts: 05
Pay Scale: Rs.14000-60,500+ GP Rs.6,200/- P.M.
Educational qualification: Class-XII passed or equivalent (Science) having Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) from a recognized Board or
Council.
The candidates must have obtained
pass marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) of 10+2 (Science) examination to apply for the post.
Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 20 years and 24 years as on 1st January 2022 ( i.e., Candidate must be born on or before 01/01/2002 and on or after 01/01/1998).
7. DRIVER (OPERATOR)
Total no. of Posts: 12
Pay Scale: Rs.14000-60,500+ GP Rs.5000/- P.M.
Educational qualification: Class VIll passed and must possess valid driving license for HMV (Heavy Motor Vehicles) from recognized Authority (Assam State only).
Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 18 years and 25 years as on 1st January 2022. ( i.e., Candidate must be born on or before 01/01/2004 and on or after 01/01/1997).
Other Criteria of APRO Recruitment
Nationality: Candidates must be Indian citizens, permanent resident of Assam. Selected candidates will have to submit proof of residence /Domicile Certificate after publication of the final select list. However, candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC/MOBC are exempted from submitting such certificates.
Employment Exchange Registration Certificate: Candidates must register his/ her name with a local Employment Exchange in Assam.
Local Language Proficiency: Candidates must speak Assamese or any other state language fluently.
Age Limit for APRO: Candidates age should not be less than 18 years and not more than 25 years as on 1st January 2022 (i.e., Candidate must be born on or before 01/01/2004 and on or after 01/01/1997).
Age Relaxation: Category-wise age relaxation is as mentioned below
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC/MOBC: 3 years
- Trained Home guard: 3 years
